The guided journey
The biggest update so far: CEBuddy now walks you through CE-marking as a guided, step-by-step journey instead of a flat list of modules.
- Project work is grouped into seven phases — from getting started to life after the market — with a live status on every step.
- The project overview is now a dashboard whose Continue button always points at your next step.
- Every step page opens with a plain-language explanation of the task; the regulatory detail stays one click away.
- A built-in glossary explains the CE-marking jargon right where it appears.
- The risk assessment, EHSR checklist, documents page and safety-function editor were rebuilt so you always edit one thing at a time — and they work on a phone.
- A visual refresh: clearer typography, status chips everywhere, and better dark-mode contrast.

- A public landing page explains what the tool does before you register.
- Icons, search-engine metadata and a sitemap make the tool easy to find and share.

Change control after the sale
What happens once a machine is on the market is now guided too.
- A change-triage wizard asks a few questions and tells you whether a modification counts as a substantial modification under the Regulation.
- When it does, CEBuddy scopes the re-certification for you: which steps to revisit and which documents to re-issue.

Portable projects
Your CE file is yours to take with you.
- Export any project as a portable archive — data, photos and generated documents included.
- Import it into another CEBuddy instance, or keep it as an offline backup.

Eight languages
The whole interface now speaks English, Danish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, French, Polish and Spanish.

The first public CEBuddy: a complete workbench for CE-marking machinery under Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
- Classification, risk assessment, EHSR checklist and standards register.
- A functional-safety engine for EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061, with component-library import.
- Generated documents: Declaration of Conformity or Incorporation, Instructions for Use, Technical File index and the PL/SIL report.
- A tamper-evident audit trail behind every change, plus worked-example projects to learn from.
CEBuddy is decision-support — it assists your work but does not certify conformity. The manufacturer remains solely responsible for the machine and its documentation.
